How can I use an iPhone app that can’t be displayed on my iPhone?

It only can display about 144 apps. After that, the apps are on the phone, but can’t be displayed. My question is, is the only way you can use an iPhone app by way of it’s display icon? Or is there another way to go in and open it?

If you have iPhone OS 3.0 or higher, you can use Spotlight Search (on the main home screen swipe from left to right) and type in a few characters from the app name, this may enable you to find it and launch it.
