There are a bunch of programs you can download that trick you iPhone which is GSM into thinking its a cdma phone and thus allowing it to work on Verizon. Check youtube,Gizmondo and other sites for the ways to do this. The biggest thing is that you're going to have to buy the phone str8 up from Att for arounf 5-600 and unlock it(which isnt that hard at all) or possibly from eBay which isnt cheap.... Oh and FYI all signs are pointing towards a newer better iphone coming yet again for this summer. So you may wnat to wait, but then again if you wait you're also going to have to wait for a new hack which could take even longer.... But back to your question I hear that you lose direct connection to the App store when away from your computer.
