iPhone for Verizon Wireless?


I heard rumors about an iPhone for Verizon wireless coming out during mid year? is this true? or did some1 just make it up.

    nope. Att has a contract with apple to exclusively carry the phone until 2013.

    Someone just made it up the blackberry storm is like the iPhone but I heard it’s not very good

    No not for Verizon until 2013, but…..(drum roll)….You can unlock it for Verizon now. There are a bunch of programs you can download that trick you iPhone which is GSM into thinking its a cdma phone and thus allowing it to work on Verizon. Check youtube,Gizmondo and other sites for the ways to do this. The biggest thing is that you’re going to have to buy the phone str8 up from Att for arounf 5-600 and unlock it(which isnt that hard at all) or possibly from eBay which isnt cheap….

    Oh and FYI all signs are pointing towards a newer better iphone coming yet again for this summer. So you may wnat to wait, but then again if you wait you’re also going to have to wait for a new hack which could take even longer….

    But back to your question I hear that you lose direct connection to the App store when away from your computer. I know a friend who is doing it right now and that’s the only thing he’s told me that is different.
