I heard rumors that the original iPhone didn’t work in vermont because of the ATT service didnt come here…but i heard that the iPhone 3g did get service in vermont….are these rumors true or are they false accusations?

You will find there are LOTS of areas in Vermont that have no cell phone service at all, for a couple of reasons: sparce coverage to begin with and blank spots caused by the mountains. No matter what phone you use, you will find this is true.

gorkbarque porkduke, i live near burlington and cell phones do work there (not all towns in vermont are redneck and consist of a population of 300)
but i tried to buy an iPhone online just now, apparently att service doesn’t work here YET….i think that by december the att service should work
