iphone, mms and swirly MMS?
ok first i have the current 1st generation and plan on buying the the iphone 3g when it comes out.ive been using the method of emailing pictures as mms messages but it really is a pain to go through all that work just to do a simple thing that most phones already do. so pretty much im asking if when the iphone 3g comes out will there be any mms service added? i really miss that from my other phones and it is probably the feature i miss the most from other phones. i have heard rumors that the iphone 3g will have a plan for mms and i really hope it does im just wondering if anyone really knows for sure and can tell me. also i just installed swirly mms on my iphone and it says you have to call att to add mms to your plan? im just wondering how exactually you can call att to add mms to a phone that shouldnt even be able to have that. and if you do what exactually should you say? becuase there isnt a mms plan for the iphone?

no, there will not be an mms feature on the 3g iphone.
it’s weird, but i guess they don’t see it as important.

I am getting an iPhone 3G on the 11th. I do want it to have MMS, so if I were you, I would call att and simply say that you want to add MMS to your plan. If they say that the iPhone does not support MMS, then say you just want it anyway. If they won’t let you have it, just say that you thought that such an expensive and revolutionary phone created by one of America’s top electronics producers would inculde such a primitive feature, and hang up.
