Is the iPhone going to come out for for t-mobile?
Well i know that there is NO rumors about it, at least that i don”t know of.. but im with t-mobile for about 8 months now.. meaning that i still have a long way to go so my contract would end… and i’m not willing to pay about 200 dollars for disconnection and then 500 for the iphone.. so does anyone know about any rumors or facts that the iphone might come out for t-mobile.. and also i don’t want to buy a unlocked phone on e-bay and not have insurance on it… lol

In a word, No.
The iphone is going to be offerered exclusively through cingular, as they are apple’s partner in the development of the iphone.

It is going to be exclusive to Cingular for the first 2 years. After that, there’s no telling which companies will have it.

I’m afraid not. All the news up to now suggests that the iPhone will be Cingular only for the first year. One way you could get out of our current T-Mobile agreement without having to pay to break your contract is to use:
Here’s the description from the site: CellSwapper.com has developed a system to keep both cellular consumers and carriers happy. Through its patent pending system, CellSwapper allows millions of unhappy cellular users to transfer their contract to another consumer for the remainder of the contract period. The consumer is fully absolved of all responsibility and is free to initiate a new plan with a different carrier. This system also provides an exclusive deal for those looking to start a wireless service plan a short-term contract with no activation fees that may run as high as $45.
I haven’t used this site but it looks promising.

Not for a long time…Cingular is getting it first…but maybe they’ll come out with an unlocked version of the iPhone so that people can buy it for the regular MSRP price…then again it might be a while for that too.
