Is it better to buy the new iphone 3g at Apple or att?


hi,
here’s my situation:

in two months, im getting the iphone 3g. however, i need to know wether its better to buy it at an Apple store where they have excellent customer service, or is it better to but it at a local att store, where i have more info about the monthly bill? (or does it make no difference?)

My first choice would be to go to apple. this is because im a true apple fan, and i like playing around with their gadgets. however, i need to get into a family plan… and im thinking if its more convenient to settle my plan at att, rather than apple, or would Apple be capable of setting up a family plan with all the options that i need?

Sorry for all the boring info.. but please answer??
