Im going to buy an iPhone from Globe Telecom Phillipines. Is it the same as the ones in the US?
Im not really sure if it’s a good idea to buy an iPhone 3g from Globe Telecom most likely in Festival Supermall in Alabang or Greenbelt 3. Are they really shipped from the US or is it Phillipinized? Cuz im tired of fake gadgets really! Im sick of fakes and they’re all over! I mean is it REALLY REALLY like what they sell in Apple stores in the US? And people, could you tell me where can I find an Apple Store in Manila or Alabang Town Center cuz I haven’t seen one before.

Hehe – your question should be is it the same kind as Obama gave to the Queen of England?
Really, you should be asking If it was made in China or not? Philippines makes good electronics under a license (like Acer computers). China makes the fakes and doesn’t care.
Seriously, before you buy, open it up and read where it was made. The country of origin has to be listed.

The iPhones at Globe Telecom shops must be the real ones. There’s no such thing as Philippinized iPhone and iPhones are Made in China.
