people can make software like that and sometimes release it for free or if it costs anything, it usually gets cracked, then widely distributed, so i doubt anyone would. i wouldn’t , i’d wait for a free one.

Most likely, VERY few people would buy it because there are already free programs out there that do a pretty good job. If you did decide to sell it, it would have to have a lot of features that the other converters don’t have and it should be no more than 10 to 20 dollars. Even then I don’t think it would be worth it.

There are already programs out there that convert most video to iPhone, and many of them are free. What is really needed is a program that can do it all. Suppose you have your sister’s wedding video, and there is a really funny part in the middle of it that is only a few seconds long. You want to save this really funny part to your iPhone. Depending on the format of the video source, you might need to use two or three applications to get the video you want on to your phone. It would be nice to have a video program that would allow you to edit, resize, and re-compress your video and save it to whatever format you want. As far as I know, none of the programs out there will allow you do that for free.

If the software is great as iPhone.
How many people buy the iPhone will be how many people buy the iPhone converter.
